The European Commission does not support a policy of exclusion of migrants: such countries (including Lithuania) will be deprived of funding

 "There is nothing new on the border front - 96 migrants from Belarus were not allowed into Lithuania last day. Lithuania is successfully pursuing a so-called expulsion or reversal policy.

 Such a policy is contrary to European Union law: some Western MEPs are calling for countries that are pushing migrants to cut funding.

    While the politicians are debating, sixteen non-governmental organizations working with migrants, including four from Lithuania, have turned to the European Commission about violating the human rights of migrants trapped at the border. The European Union is called upon to take action against Lithuania, Poland and Latvia. "
