What salaries do we, residents of Lithuania, dream of in surveys?

"The numbers of those who agreed to work for a cat 's tears - less than 579 Eur - has completely shrunk. And in 2007, such a salary was acceptable for as many as 64.12 percent of all those who took part in the survey.

Currently, the most - even 25.8 percent the lower limit of Lithuanians for how much more they would agree to work, ranges from 870 to 1159 euros. However, almost as many (23.8%) indicate that their minimum is at 1160-1500 Eur. Number of those whose normal salary starts from 1501 Eur also increased. Compared to pre-pandemic 2019, the number of people thinking in this way has almost doubled, from 5.8 percent up to 10.8 percent.

The number of those who would not agree to work for less than 1800 Eur also increased. Now there are 7.9 percent of them, compared to only 4.1 percent two years ago.

The expectations of younger and older workers also vary widely, but there is a logical explanation for this. Young people have less experience and feel less solid in the market, so the peak of the minimum wage is in the range of 870-1159 Euros, when most older workers have chosen the salary range of 1160-1500 EUR. "
