Professor R.Lazutka says that our well-being is very unevenly distributed

"According to him, when it comes to deposits in banks, one should look at the distribution. "As far as I can see, half of the population has only 10 percent of total financial assets and, conversely, 10 percent of the richest have 50 percent. When researchers ask people about their ability to cover unexpected cost, 42% of the Lithuanian population say that they have no such ability.  What does the unexpected cost mean - € 430. This means that 42% of the population have a problem with a broken tooth or household appliance. In Lithuania there are known to be huge inequalities and big differences.

In other areas, such as education, we have huge differences also, as well as in life expectancy. "It seems to me that the focus should be on this, because if there is no crisis after a fun party, we really should pay attention to how all that wealth is distributed," - says R. Lazutka.""

Here for you, the welfare state. For some, all well-being, for others, maintaining that well-being through low qualification and unhealthy work.
