Intoxicated by drugs, lounging in Stikliai, liberal-conservatives continue the war with the Lithuanian nation

  "A EUR 2.5 billion energy package for business was included in the 2023 Lithuanian budget project presented on October 7. Although its purpose is to mitigate the impact of energy prices on business, it does not include compensation for gas. The Ministry of Energy proposes to use the means of reorientation towards renewable energy.    

 

    "We hope to come back to this issue again, because the shift to renewable energy takes time, and companies need to pay bills, wages and survive today." We must understand that the aid mechanism would help to stop the process that has started: for individual business sectors or companies, gas prices have already become a matter of survival. Companies are taking radical decisions - suspending operations, allowing employees to be idle or even thinking about closing down," says the head of the Confederation of Industrialists.

 

     Germany is not the only EU country where a decision was made to compensate part of the gas price not only for households, but also for business users. In France, 25-26 billion euros have been allocated for the general protection of businesses and households from the shock of gas prices."
