A commentary in the Kaunas diena clarifies how the Landsbergis' family began to steal the lands of Vilnius

 

  "G. Landsbergienė was allocated a plot of 1 hectare and 16 acres in Vilnius district, in the village of Klevinė, for a 15-acre plot in Anykščiai, by the decision of the former head of Vilnius county Alis Vidūnas. This land was allocated to G. Landsbergienė in a strategically good place - approximately 4 kilometers from the border of the city of Vilnius, near the Vilnius-Panevėžys highway."
