Why so many migrants are reaching EU right now?

USA are paying Mexico to keep the Central American migrants from reaching USA. Turkey and some other countries existing on the way to the EU  just got this idea. Turkey and those other countries  want their cut from the rich EU, including the money, visa-free travel and other goodies. Therefore Turkey and those some other countries started working like huge vacuum pumping the migrants into EU.
