What is machine learning?

This is currently the most popular area in artificial intelligence development. The learning of machines is based on the fact that computers are increasingly processing larger volumes of data (speaking about the amounts of data equivalent to millions of photographs), establishing models and creating predictions that were not previously possible. These software models are based on the same principle as the human brain. Therefore, these technologies can replace people in many areas of our work.

Therefore, artificial intelligence is considered to be the main technology of this century. Most experts believe that machines that are able to make decisions that are similar to those adopted by humans, make a significant difference in our work processes. An especially typical example is self-driving: companies in Europe, the Americas and China are perfecting autonomous cars that should work in normal traffic conditions without human help (more on this here).
