 She stressed that the introduction of cheap labor is not a long-term strategy for the country.  "Therefore, a very good balance is needed here between what is really necessary for the economy and where our economy should move, ”said I. Šimonytė. According to her, employers should give priority to the import of highly and medium-skilled workers. "We need to look at how more highly qualified people can come here and contribute to economic transformation," the prime minister added."
