It is money taken from the taxes we pay, squeezed out from the state. All over the world, profits are made by doing business so that revenue exceeds costs. It is not worth doing this way in Lithuania.
"Linas Agro Group, which has 450 employees, is the third in Lithuania in terms of arable land - after removing subsidies, without such a significant amount of support, would be under pressure, A. Pranckevičius, Deputy General Manager of Linas Agro Group, admits. "It is clear that if significant amounts of support were lost, business would automatically be under significant financial pressure. And if that amount were to be lost, it would probably have to be both a reduction in activity and a reduction in jobs, and everything else. Everything here is not a plus", - calculates A. Pranckevičius. According to him, this would slow down investment in agriculture as a whole, as the largest investors are usually larger companies. Over the next 7 years, there are ambitious goals for the green course, which will require investment: "If you artificially deduct that profit, nothing is left for investing."
A. Pranckevičius, a big Lithuanian businessman, is a beggar. It does not pay to work profitably, it is good to get fat and happy from our alms. Maybe it’s time to give way to others who know how to do a real business?
