The reaction of Western countries to the forcible landing of a Ryanair passenger plane flying from Athens to Vilnius

"Belarus has used a fighter jet and a military helicopter to land a civilian aircraft. The Belarusian opposition says it did so in order to arrest the Belarusian opposition activist and blogger R. Pratasevičius, the founder of the Nexta information channel, who flew the plane."

R. Pratasevičius is a 26-year-old young men with a snotty nose.

"Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova on Monday criticized the reaction of Western countries to the forcible landing of a Ryanair passenger plane flying from Athens to Vilnius in Minsk, urging to recall the 2013 forced landing of Bolivian President Evo Morales in Austria."

Why this happened?

"Bolivian President Evo Morales' plane was forcibly landed in Vienna due to false rumors that Edward Snowden was allegedly flying with him. The incident, which showed the highest level of disrespect for third-country President E. Morales, took place on 2 July 2013. France, Spain, Portugal and Italy then refused to allow the landing of Mr Morales' plane, which flew from Moscow back to Bolivia and was in need of refueling. Morales' life was in danger when he was forcibly landed in the Austrian capital, Bolivian Foreign Minister David Choquehuanca said after the incident. A meeting was held in Cochabamba, Bolivia, on 4 July, at which the leaders of Venezuela, Ecuador, Argentina and Uruguay showed solidarity with Mr Morales."
