Because Lithuanian emigrants in America no longer help the Lithuanian elite. The Lithuanian elite created the conditions of the North Korean communists to hold a referendum on dual citizenship in Lithuania. The referendum always enthusiastically supports dual citizenship, but it never counts, because it would be good if, like in North Korea, 99.9 percent of all Lithuanian voters voted. When you start annoying Lithuanians, even Lithuanians eventually lose patience.
