“In 2017, when “Empty Cages” launched the project “Egg Price”, which aims to eliminate the number of caged hen farms in Lithuania, only 3% of all laying hens in Lithuania were kept outside cages. As a result of people encouraging businesses to stop selling worst-case eggs or not to use them in their products and dishes, 17% of hens are now kept outside cages."
Thus, the vast majority of Lithuanian hens are kept in cages. They stress out there, and you eat those stress hormones and get cancer and vascular disease from them, and you die early.
