Conservatives and liberals are slipping from power in Lithuania to the margins of history

  "At the same time, the number of respondents who spoke negatively about the minister A. Armonaitė increased. In April, 59% of the population was unfavorable to A. Armonaitė. At that time, in May, 70% of respondents declared the chairman of the Freedom Party unfavorable. Thus, according to the latest polls, ministers the balance of assessments has become even more distorted and currently stands at minus 49. With these indicators, A. Armonaitė has become the worst-rated in the Government led by Minister Ingrida Šimonytė.

Support for the Speaker of the Seimas Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen has decreased by 8 percentage points. Compared to April, V. Čmilytė-Nielsen fell from the fifth place in the favorable rating table to the tenth place, compared to April 2007. 

At the end of the spring, the favorable assessment of Prime Minister I. Šimonytė also decreased. The share of the population in favor of the Prime Minister fell by 7 percentage points. According to the data of the last survey, I. Šimonytė is favorably assessed by 35%. and 58 percent claims to view her unfavorably. 

"Baltic Research" data also show that the assessment of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabrielius Landsbergis deteriorated by 5 percentage points over the month (23% in favor and 68% against)."
