What does the rule by fanatics bring to Lithuania?

 

 The economic turmoil and the massive emigration of Lithuanians. Every time a crisis comes to Lithuania, voters with limited mental abilities and ideological fanatics push the Conservatives and Liberals into power to their consolation, turning the lives of the majority into hell. This is how it gets also now:

As the total flow of illegal migrants to Western Europe is about 600 thousand per year, if the flows were evenly distributed (between the western, central and eastern Mediterranean and the Black Sea and Lithuanian routes), Lithuania could expect about 120 thousand illegal migrants per year, ie one fifth of the total flow. In this case, the maintenance of migrants would cost Lithuania 1.32 billion EUR per year., more than Lithuania allocates funding to the Ministry of National Defense (1.0 billion) or the Ministry of the Interior (845 million),” Ž. Mauricas wrote. 

However, according to Ž. Mauricas, this is not yet the most pessimistic scenario. "If Lithuania becomes the main route for illegal migrants to the European Union (such a possibility exists because other EU countries have invested heavily in border protection and their tolerance for illegal migration has significantly decreased, it does not rule out the possibility that Lithuania may enter higher number of migrants (especially if flights to Minsk from Kabul, Islamabad or Tehran are opened and migrants from Afghanistan flock to Lithuania, fleeing the Taliban, which is likely if  Taliban further strengthens  position in Afghanistan after the withdrawal of US troops in August this year)."
