The company of Gilma Teodora Gylytė, the architect of the new life friend of Vilnius Mayor Remigijus Šimašius, has won five tenders announced by the municipality, the portals 15min.lt write. and delfi.lt. In February 2019, the company Do architecs, one of the shareholders of which is G. T. Gylytė, won 12.1 thousand euros. In September of the same year, the company won 730 thousand euros - an architectural competition worth designing Tolminkiemis Gymnasium in Pilaitė. Last spring, the municipality applied to Do architects and the company in April for 1 thousand euros to prepare a project for the installation of temporary hospitals. In the same month, the company committed for just over 12 thousand euros to design recreation facilities in Naugarduko Street. The latest contract was signed between Do architects and Vilnius municipality in February this year - for almost 12 thousand. The company undertook to provide services for the preparation of materiality and small architectural details of the streets of Vilnius. Karolis Vaitkevičius, adviser to R. Šimašius, stated on 15min.lt that a conflict of public and private interests could not arise - the mayor declared relations with G. T. Gylyte to the Chief Commission of Official Ethics (COEC). R. Šimašius announced at the weekend that he had exchanged rings with the architect G. T. Gylyte, but added that the signatures would come "sometime after the holidays". In May, the mayor of Vilnius announced his divorce from his then wife Agne Matulaite."
