What should a coronavirus vaccine do?

Some say the vaccine should save those who die from coronavirus. Since most of those infected do not die, most of those infected do not need attention of the vaccine creating scientists.

This is a misconception. If we prevent the virus from multiplying in most often infected people, they, those most often infected, will be less likely to infect and those whose death from coronavirus is imminent. Therefore, if the vaccine does not protect life of those who die from coronavirus, that vaccine will help those vulnerable to die indirectly by reducing their chances of becoming infected. Let us not hinder the transition to a practical application of the coronavirus vaccine any longer.
