Why don't the German Merz and the French Macron talk about their countries' (huge) economic problems, but only about their desire to arm themselves, to transport atomic bombs by plane across Europe, and to invade the Slavic lands in the East even more vigorously?

Because their economic problems are too big for them. The USA and China are driving forward at full speed and occupying all niches. Our Western European leaders don't know what to do here. They are facing an economic catastrophe. Something should be done. That is why all this military nonsense arises. Each of them dreams of sitting at the trough of power a little longer, under the cover of the crown of Emperor Napoleon I, realizing that because of delay, the same end awaits them as Napoleon I. There will be no mercy for the leaders who have impoverished the richest bloc in the world - the European Union.
