Israel is frequently described as having roughly 0.16 percent of the landmass of the neighboring Arab states, which collectively constitute over 5 million square miles. Tiny piece (0.16 percent) of land is much easier to stuff with defense rockets and protect. Such a big piece of land (100 percent) is impossible to protect.
The small size allows Israel to maintain high-density, centralized defense networks, such as the Iron Dome and advanced sensor arrays, which are often cited as crucial for protecting a compact territory.
After oil and gas pumping in the neighboring Arab states diminishes, the world economy collapses, because of poorly protected Arab area, the damage to Israel is more serious, that getting hit directly. Politics also matters but geography matters more.
