Šimonytė decided to apply the American sanctions, which are
not binding on us, by suspending the transportation of Belarusian cargo through
the port of Klaipėda and Lithuanian railways. As rail and port facilities break
down and rust and are expensive to maintain, there is a risk of bankrupting our
port and railways, which have lost their main freight flow. The question is,
who will buy and scrap that iron during the bankruptcy? Everyone thinks the
long-nosed queen Martha because she knows how to do it paying only one euro.
"Lithuanian
Railways will close the loop on their necks. Some of in Lithuanian government will feel the
secretion of political heroism because of this, having nothing to do with
truth or common sense, to rejoice in Metallica and to "shake up"
about a fool soldier Schweik is not enough to give the headless Šimonytė insights that lead
to wise decisions. In a greenhouse, beets are not grown, and if the country had
been run solely on the basis of textbooks, it would have been a hell of a long
time ago.
The reality is far
more colorful than the glance of the forerunner from the board of honor. Who
will pay the money for the terminated contract with Belaruskalij? The
authorities are reluctant to answer this question. Thus, the state port and the
railway company that survived on Belarusian fertilizers have to be running down
since February 1, even though the Americans themselves have stated that there
are no sanctions for the transit of Belarusian cargo.
But the vision of
the forerunner of those times is different - to be faithful to the textbook
truth until "exhaustion." The principles are above human well-being
and a shattered economy. However, life is not just about principles or ideals
grown in a greenhouse. There is also the deliberate bankruptcy of a state-owned
company and huge real losses leading to legal liability. Even formally, in a
textbook look.
The question here
is basically - who will pay the money for the terminated contract with
Belaruskalij? Belarusians have already said they will demand millions. The
government avoids answering this question under the guise of a law passed by
the Seimas, but even it does not eliminate liability or contractual
obligations. So, again, who will pay the Lukashenko regime now? The Prime
Minister, members of the Seimas, the Queen Martha School or the Conservative
Party? P.S. It is possible to bet that the burden of fines will be on
taxpayers. It is always so - the rulers make loss, and we have to pay. There
are no culprits in the degenerative policy. "
