"XooX's comment
in response to this opinion:
It's very nicely
drawn here - when you get sick, let's add when you have a child... And what
should you do if you earn less than the minimum? When you get sick, you get
that state-mandated maximum and that's enough, right? Then maybe we will pay
the taxes from that set maximum. Because when you get sick or go on maternity
leave, loans and other daily needs based on your income do not disappear
anywhere.
Not to mention that
free services are essentially gone. You will somehow end up with a family
doctor, but everything else is not available at least for a month or available only for money. Only the
cheapest medicines or other measures are reimbursed. If you want something
better, pay.
It is also possible
to add forced accumulation for pensions without the possibility of leaving, although
in reality the result is negative.
Already now, with the
inactivity of our Bank of Lithuania, banks are lobbying and charging us for everything
possible, even depositing money into our own account. Going cashless will further
increase these charges on everything.
If you look at
Western Europe itself, there are really few countries where you can do without
cash."
