  None of the Lithuanians are obliged to contribute to the maintenance of those refugees, because they are not fleeing to the land of beggars, Lithuania, but to the West. It's just that our rulers want to scare us by showing that they can be brutal with strangers, and if necessary, they will be brutal with us too. That intimidation is enough to silence us and keep our wages twice as low as the European average at the same prices.
