Why does Trump want to urgently stop the conflict in Ukraine and why this is a threat to the Lithuanian authorities?

Because that conflict is drowning the current US President Biden. As a result of this conflict, the West has turned away from cheaper Russian natural gas. Natural gas is cheaper and more convenient and cleaner to use than coal. Therefore, gas has become the main source of energy for all of us, replacing coal. Liquefied natural gas is relatively easy to transport, so its price varies more or less the same way around the world. By pushing Russian gas out of the European Union, America's current president, Biden, has caused energy prices and thus prices of everything else to rise around the world, including America and Europe.

"The biggest problems in Europe have not been avoided by companies in some sectors, for example, those working in industries that use a lot of energy resources: the liquefied gas used there is about 1.5 times more expensive than the Russian natural gas used in the past."

The Americans are also not satisfied with such a price jump, they throw Biden out of the presidency.

It is not surprising that, upon returning to the post of the US president, Trump wants to stop the conflict in Ukraine in the first place, and free up trade in cheap Russian gas, thereby reducing all prices in America.

Now is the worst time for Lithuania to divert its economy to the production of artillery and drones for Ukraine. It is worth waiting a few months for the election results in the US. If Trump restores world peace, we will have great losses. Military industry is very risky, especially when peace comes, and Lithuania's capabilities are so small that we have nothing to compensate the risks anymore.
