"One of the founders of the Brolis group of lasers producing companies,
Kristijonas Vizbaras, says that their activities in the defense business sector
are not related to China. Product is for use in a variety of industrial systems, medical
or consumer goods solutions. ”Our goal is to market this product worldwide
through global supply chains.
However, due to the current situation created by
politicians, the component originating in Lithuania is becoming toxic. We
cannot sell the product not only to China, but also to Germany, Belgium, or
other countries because customers cannot integrate our components into their
systems. Otherwise, we would have to force buyers to distance themselves from China,
the world’s largest market. We do not do that, so it becomes impossible to
develop a business in such a situation, ”- explains K. Vizbaras.
After asking whether the crisis of relations with China
closes the markets of Western countries for Lithuania, the interlocutor confirms
that the laser sector has already faced incoming exports to the USA and other
countries where Lithuanian components are being integrated into larger systems.
"Other EU countries will not be as politically determined as Lithuania,
because China is their main partner. No one will cause such political nonsense
as in Lithuania," - says a guest of Delfi TV."
