China is run by engineers. The US is run by lawyers. Lithuania is run by idiots.

 Warmongering idiots.

Why?

The phrases about China and the U.S. reflect a popular geopolitical framework popularized by analyst Dan Wang, contrasting technocratic execution versus procedural litigation.

China: The Engineering State

Focus on physical creation: Top leadership tiers have historically been packed with holders of technical and engineering degrees who view state challenges through a mechanical lens.

Preference for building: The governance model favors massive infrastructure, rapid industrial scaling, and heavy physical intervention over procedural debate.

The U.S.: The Lawyerly Society

Focus on rules and process: The American political and corporate elite is heavily populated by individuals with legal backgrounds.

Emphasis on risk mitigation: The system relies on litigation, compliance, and procedural vetoes, which protects individual rights and contracts but frequently stalls large-scale physical construction.
