Valdas Rakutis, Laurynas Kasčiūnas, Paulė Kuzmickienė and Tomas Vytautas
Raskevičius, a representative of the Freedom Party, are submitting the
amendment to the Labor Code.
"In order
not to increase the total number of public holidays and to avoid possible
negative effects on the country's economy, it is proposed to delete May 1, the
International Labor Day, from the list of public holidays," the
explanatory memorandum states."
