 "Zelensky condemns the petition calling for the ban on conscripts leaving Ukraine to be lifted.

 

     Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has taken a very negative view of a petition calling for him to lift the ban on Ukrainian citizens of military age leaving the country. In the words of V. Zelensky, it is simply unfair to make such proposals now.

 

     Such a petition was served on Saturday, May 21, after collecting 25 thousand signatures in it - the number required for the president to consider it. Mr Zelensky promised to consider the petition within the time limit set by the relevant law and to provide a formal reply."
