"In "The New Moral Order Is Already Crumbling" (Free Expression, Sept. 26), Gerard Baker captures the essence of postmodernism: opening borders, striving to avoid climate doom and rejecting traditional Western culture.
It all sounds so enlightened and exciting -- until you see the price tag. We can't afford to put the world on our welfare system, reverse centuries of industrial progress, or reject the values that produced prosperity and social order in the first place.
