Nuclear missiles in Russia and the US are enough to destroy ten planets

"Would there be winners in the current nuclear war? It is urgent to enlighten the Landsbergis' authorities with the latest data for 2022: Russia leads the world with 5,977 nuclear warheads. The United States is in second place with 5,428 nuclear warheads. It is followed by China - 350, the United Kingdom - 225, France - 290. In the nuclear club with smaller arsenals are Pakistan, India, Israel, and North Korea.

The power of current nuclear weapons would be enough to destroy ten earth-sized planets, and air defenses do not have the capacity to intercept all such missiles.

Even after shooting down a nuclear missile with air defense, it would explode over some territory. Russian and US nuclear missiles are deployed in underground shafts in constantly moving submarines. Russia still has them deployed in special vehicles that constantly change their location.

It is possible to strike them from airplanes as well.

Therefore, neither Russia nor the USA have the ability to strike first and completely destroy the enemy and win a nuclear war.

The latest Russian intercontinental ballistic missile RS28 "Sarmat" offers many advantages as it carries 15 nuclear warheads. Sarmat is 35.3 m long, weighs 220 tons, and has a range of 10,000 to 18,000 km. Comparing the missile capacities, we see that the Sarmat has a capacity of 50 megatons of TNT, while the US Minuteman III missile has a capacity of 1.425 megatons. "Sarmat" is a hypersonic missile and can reach 6173 km/h on the way to the target. Currently, both Russia and China claim to have hypersonic missiles. US hypersonic missiles are under development. Since 2010 the US has conducted 17 different hypersonic missile tests, 10 of which failed.

Let's compare the power of modern missiles with those dropped by the Americans on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The bomb dropped in Hiroshima had a power of 0.015 megatons - about 70,000 people were killed immediately, and about 140,000 victims in total. In Nagasaki - 0.022 megatons and there were about 70,000 victims. The destructive power of "Sarmat" is several thousand times greater. The US "Minuteman III" is about 100 times more powerful than the nuclear bombs dropped on Japan.

Current missiles have the power to destroy millions of cities without any chance of escape, so in such a war we can lose the entire civilization, destroy the ecosystem of the planet and destroy ourselves.

As a result, observing the inappropriate behavior of the Lithuanian authorities raises many serious questions. Is the West really cowardly? Are the Lithuanian authorities really brave and able to properly assess the situation? Did our nation give the Government a mandate to act crazy and provoke a global nuclear war between NATO and Russia? And the fundamental question - why bluntly provoke an international crisis over Kaliningrad and go against the opinion of the European Commission and the USA!? Let's examine what happened.

The blockade of Kaliningrad and the spat of liberal-conservatives on international law

The current government of Lithuania is unique in the world. To this stubborn liberal-conservative "hawk" government, the legal acts of the European Union were explained in writing and signed. At the end of the Seimas session, I openly said that the Government of Lithuania does not follow the principles of international law and arrogantly ignores the opinion of the European Commission regarding the application of sanctions to the transit from Kaliningrad to the territory of Russia. Everyone who knows how to read English, German or French could clearly read already in the initial text of the European Commission sanctions that the transit of postal services and products from Kaliningrad to the territory of Russia is not restricted!

Josep Borelis diplomatically gave the Lithuanian authorities time to correct themselves. It was hoped that self-activity dangerous to the security of Europe would be stopped. No, after all, we are a brave country - on all televisions and portals, our rulers said that this is the only possible treatment of sanctions that humiliates Lithuania as a state. Need to veto. Disagree.

A reasonable question arises, do international law and the principles of subordination of law not work for our Government and those ruling the Seimas!? Maybe they are not valid in Lithuania, we just don't know it yet!? Or are there no competent experts to explain? Seeing that they are still absent or arrogantly not listened to, I explain the primer of international law.

International agreements take precedence over any decisions on sanctions.

The 2002 international agreement between the European Union and Russia regarding Kaliningrad transit was not and is not cancelled. There wasn't even any discussion about her denunciation. Therefore, the sanctions could not even theoretically limit the transit from Kaliningrad to the territory of Russia. Literate experts and politicians work in the European Commission. They understand what international law is.

If the interpretations of the Lithuanian authorities were included in the text of the sanctions, such sanctions would not have been valid, because the provisions of the international agreement would be valid as higher according to the principle of legal subordination.

The Prime Minister of Estonia resigned - the Prime Minister of Lithuania ignores reality, and Landsbergis, who caused an international crisis, is on vacation

If the Lithuanian government did not live in its own space - i.e. in the extraordinary session of the Seimas, the international scandal regarding the failed blockade of the Kaliningrad transit was supposed to be discussed. It was further strengthened in July by additionally banning the transit of cement and other goods. All this was done knowing that the original text of the EU sanctions does not provide for this and Brussels cannot interpret it in any other way! It was known that they would order everything to be canceled. Still, the situation continued to escalate and finally, with a calm face, Landsbergis welcomes the good decision of the European Commission, which Brussels and Washington are happy about.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs decides to go on vacation so that he does not have to answer journalists' questions live. Ignoring the truth and reality is the current government's recipe for "success" for Lithuania and Europe. And the fiercest "hawks" of the ruling liberals - Petras Auštrevičius and Raimundas Lopata together with the gray cardinal Albina Januška and the former "eternal" head of the Lithuanian Constitutional Court Dainius Žalimas are inviting Lithuania to new madness. They do not support international law and the interpretation of the European Commission and demand that President Gitansd Nausėda reject any proposals from Brussels that would allow the movement of Russian goods from Kaliningrad through transit to Russian territory. As can be seen from the speeches, at least the president and the prime minister do not promise to declare war on the European Commission, but there is no shortage of active advocates. Dalia Grybauskaitė accused the politicians of Lithuania of dancing the shaking from fear party. Her dream is a short and brave world war. After all, we would easily win it and everyone in the West only "dreams" of a nuclear winter...

Now all of Europe is forced by our "genius" political warlords to deal with the crisis created by Lithuania, which threatened a real war with Russia and the emergence of a second front, in which NATO would be included. The Government of Lithuania easily threatened the security of the citizens of Lithuania and the state... but apparently they were not in Europe's only Cold War Museum at Lake Plateliai. They did not see what the Soviet nuclear missiles deployed there looked like in 1962 before the Cuban Missile Crisis. As I mentioned, they are much more powerful than Hiroshima and Nagasaki! When they explode, there is no life left in a radius of several hundred kilometers. Maybe it's worth taking a look at what a current nuclear war would look like!? Maybe then a sense of responsibility towards the people of Lithuania would emerge and it would be possible to return from creating cosmic heights and political utopias!?

Now everyone in the European Commission, Berlin and Washington knows that Lithuania is a difficult country to predict

This is already being heard loudly in the political corridors, and these are not my words, but the Lithuanian government is unmovable. The principles of democratic states do not apply to it. Only naive utopia creators can dream about the resignation of even one minister! On the contrary. Our political elite has Olympic calmness. It seems that everything is suitable for the president, prime minister, speaker of the Seimas. After all, nothing happened. We are leading everywhere. Prices are growing almost the fastest in Europe, inflation is at a record high, but Lithuanians are patient. Will wait until the next elections in 2024, because then I. Šimonytė will allow us to participate in the elections and choose others...

However, this should not surprise us. This has been happening in Lithuania for a long time, but now a new level of nonsense has been reached - international. After all, when voting in the Seimas, the ruling majority has not been thinking about the violations of the Lithuanian Constitution or the announcement of V. Landsbergis as the head of state for a long time. Do you care about the human rights being mentioned in this way and the historical reality being openly distorted!? As one of the prominent rulers explained to me, such leaders as Vytautas Landsbergis do not play by the rules. They themselves break them and create new ones. We all have to finally understand that they - the great winners - make history the way they want it to be. If there are enough votes in the Seimas hall. Is this the kind of Lithuania people want? We all know and the survey shows no... but the opinion of the majority of the people is ignored and it is proudly called democracy. It's naive to expect that those in power will hear me, but at least visit the museum and come back to Lithuania from outer space. There are serious problems here that need to be addressed here and now."
