"However,
later R. Karavaitienė admitted that for qualified work in Germany or
Scandinavian countries you can get even two or three times higher salary than
in Lithuania.
"You just
have to remember that the standard of living in those countries is also
different. In Norway, the salary may be higher, but the cost of living is also
higher, so people think carefully about whether it is really worth going
there," she observed.
D. Lapėnienė even
clarified the salary range - the amount of salary abroad ranges from 1.4 to 3
thousand euros and more after tax.
Seasonal job
offers for vegetable, fruit and berry farm workers, cooks, waiters, party chefs
in the Netherlands have been published on the EURES Lietuva website. Monthly
gross salary - 1.9-2.5 thousand euros. In addition to working in hotels in the
Netherlands, there is also the possibility of farm work this season. Fruit
(pears), berry (cherries), vegetable (cabbage, celery, etc.) farms are looking
for workers, who are offered an hourly wage of 12-14 euros. We are also looking
for strawberry and raspberry farm workers in Finland. In Norway, we are looking
for production workers in a crab factory, and we also want cooks. In
restaurants located in attractive places, on the Norwegian islands, the hourly
wage is from 18 euros before taxes. In Germany, jobs are offered to hotel, cafe
workers and cleaners. Hourly gross remuneration for all positions is from 12
euros per hour."
And now, children, let's ask Uncles entrepreneurs, why, with Western prices in Lithuania, we don't want to work in Lithuania?
