Companies are rapidly expanding GenAI commitments.

"The GenAI wave is rolling: Since the spring, the proportion  companies that have set up pilot projects has increased from 15 to 45 percent.

10 percent of companies are already using generative AI productively - after 4 percent in the spring. A study by market researchers at Gartner signals a clear trend: Generative AI is shifting from a buzzword to business reality. “Companies are not just talking about generative AI, they are investing time, money and resources to advance it and deliver business results,” says Gartner analyst Frances Karamouzis. “Generative AI is now on the agenda of CEOs and boards seeking to harness the transformative potential of this technology.”

The catalytic effect of ChatGPT is noteworthy: 55 percent of companies have increased their investments in generative AI within a very short period of time. And it's not just investing, it's also scaling.

22 percent of companies are already using the new technology in multiple business functions such as software development, marketing and customer service.

As experience grows, the risk assessment also changes: 78 percent of those surveyed are now of the opinion that the advantages of generative AI outweigh its risks. In the spring, only two thirds shared this opinion." [1]
