We should use the market and computers so that companies pay us for collecting our personal information, and we pay companies for services provided to us.
Advertisements would then not be at the center of our interaction with the Internet and could be blocked without much harm to us.
It would make no sense to spread addictive information that harms us and society. There's no point in trying to get us glued to our screens if we're not going to watch ads or buy promotional junk.
