China, which sent a humanoid army to the US, also aims to occupy the European market

“Chinese robots are already working in eight major sectors: reception and hospitality, logistics sorting, industrial advanced manufacturing, security screening and patrolling, data collection and training, research and education.

The company, founded by Huawei engineers just a few years ago, has already managed to fulfill an order for 5,000 robots for the US market, and now China is also targeting Europe.”

According to data from January 2026, this company is AgiBot (also known as Zhipu AI), founded by Peng Zhihui, a former member of Huawei’s Genius Youth talent program.

Basic information about the price and orders:

Price per humanoid: AgiBot aims to keep the price of mass-produced humanoids below 20,000 US dollars. Some simplified or basic models can cost around 14,000 US dollars.

Reaching 5,000 robots: In late 2025, AgiBot announced the successful production and delivery of its 5,000th humanoid robot, making it one of the first companies in the world to achieve this mass production scale.

Market context: While the company is actively expanding in the US and other foreign markets, its low price (compared to competitors whose robots cost between $30,000 and $150,000) is intended to compete with projects such as Tesla Optimus.
