"A growing majority of U.S. Republican Party voters -- 62% -- think the U.S. has done too much to support Ukraine, according to the latest Wall Street Journal poll in August. Sen. J.D. Vance (R., Ohio), an outspoken opponent of Ukraine aid, said he believes that the GOP lawmakers who want to continue funding the conflict are out of step with their party's voters. "The people are telling us, 'We need to find an exit strategy here,' " he said." [1]
