Cabbage "lasagna" instead of stuffed cabbage rolls: it's also delicious, but much simpler and more impressive

"Traditional stuffed cabbage rolls wrapped in cabbage leaves are adored by many, but the preparation itself can seem quite tedious to many. There is no shortage of tips on how to make "lazy stuffed cabbage rolls", but sometimes the appearance of the dish is compromised for the sake of convenience. We invite you to try and prepare a delicious cabbage lasagna. It's both quick and cheap

Sauerkraut has long been known to be a source of vitamin C. However, we must not forget that fresh cabbage contains even more vitamin C - just 200 grams is enough to meet the daily requirement.

"Fresh cabbage looks so fresh and tempting, and adding it to your diet is good for both your wallet and your health." This vegetable is not without reason associated with a healthy lifestyle. In addition to the already mentioned vitamin C, cabbage also contains vitamins K, B6, as well as folic acid. Fresh cabbage is considered to have antibacterial and antiviral properties," Jolanta Sabaitienė, an employee of the "Iki" vegetable and fruit department, points out in a press release.

Lots of benefits and very few calories. There are only 40 calories in 100 grams of cabbage, so they will not harm your figure either. Of course, if you don't combine them with fatty and high-calorie additives, reminds J. Sabaitienė. Cabbage can be used in salads, stewed, cooked in soup, combined in vegetable and meat dishes - it is also very tasty simply fried with a little fat in a pan or put its quarters, sprinkled with oil, in the oven.

How to prepare leaves for stuffed cabbage rolls faster and easier

stuffed cabbage rolls

Aromatic and hearty pigeons prepared at home are a great choice when considering what is delicious to make from the simplest ingredients. The process is not complicated, but time-consuming, starting with the preparation of the leaves in the pot. This rather tiring and boring task can be done much faster than usual in most homes, says G. Urbonavičiūtė.

"Preparing the leaves will be a piece of cake and only a few steps will be required. Cut the stem of the cabbage, remove the upper leaves, if these are damaged, then cut the rest of the stem from the goiter. Oil the cut side of the cabbage (where the stem was) and place it in a pot of salted boiling water. Bring to a boil and remove from water. The oil will make the individual leaves separate very easily and effortlessly. Then just drain them and they're ready to use," advises the culinary technologist.
