Why is preparation for the Taiwan war an idiotic idea?

 Disastrous Brexit shows that separate islands, like Britain and Taiwan are not sustainable long term in today's economy. Taiwan has to join China just to survive. The West has to stop salivating when thinking about Taiwan. Save the British instead.
