Stronger is the one who sees the situation, who thinks about people

"The Pope confirmed his "fervent love" for the people of Ukraine and called on all countries "to create the conditions for a diplomatic solution for a just and lasting peace," the head of the Vatican press office said. He added that in the same interview the Pope emphasized: "Negotiations are never only surrender." Reportedly, in an interview, a journalist asked the Pope: "Some people in Ukraine are calling for the courage to recognize capitulation, to raise the white flag. But others say it legitimizes the stronger side. What do you think?"

Pope Francis replied: “This is one of the interpretations. But I think that the stronger human is the one who sees the situation, who thinks about the people, who has the courage to raise the white flag - to negotiate.

Even today, negotiations can be conducted with the help of international powers. The word "negotiation" is a bold word. When you see that you are defeated, that you are not succeeding, you need to have the courage to negotiate... It is time to start negotiations, to look for a country that can mediate. Today, for example, in the Ukraine conflict, there are many willing to mediate. Turkey volunteered for this purpose. And other countries. Don't hesitate to negotiate before the situation gets worse." As previously reported by "Ukrinform", in an interview with the Swiss broadcaster RSI, the Pope called on the parties to the conflict in Ukraine to start negotiations, noting that "the one who has the courage to raise the white flag will be stronger."

Pope Francis thinks too well of the elites of Ukraine and the European Union. These elites don't think about their people, but about their wives, in order to buy them the most expensive clothes (Just look at the clothes of the Ukrainian Zelensky's wife). Those outfits are the only sign that you are elite. Noblesse oblige [1] is completely foreign to this elite.

     1. "Noblesse oblige is a French expression that means that nobility is not limited to rights, requiring people of that status to perform social duties."
