SpaceX and Tesla Leader Musk Reacts to Trump's Call to Drop Zelenskyy

“US billionaire Elon Musk has expressed support on social media for US President Donald Trump's criticism of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, UNIAN reports.

Musk commented on a video featuring the US President's statement that it is time for Ukraine to change its president.

"I agree, Ukraine needs a new leader," he wrote.

The US tech magnate also commented on another video in which Trump criticizes Ukraine for continuing to attack Russian oil refineries.

"We told Zelenskyy: 'Do whatever you want with Russia, but don't touch the oil refineries—that's a global problem.' And what does he do? He goes and attacks diesel-producing facilities. He needs to stop—stop immediately," the video states.

Musk responded to the sentiments expressed in the video with the comment: "Zelenskyy has crossed the line."

So far, the comment has garnered nearly 3 million views and over 60,000 likes.

Trump calls on Ukraine to change its president

On Saturday, US President Donald Trump claimed that it is Zelenskyy who is refusing to agree to an end to the conflict. He also criticized Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries and stated that Ukraine needs a different president who would sign a peace agreement with Russia.

Russia calls Trump’s words historic

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s team views the new appeal to the Ukrainian people by U.S. President Donald Trump as "historic" and "significant." This was stated by Kirill Dmitriev, a special representative of the Kremlin leader.

"President Trump has joined the many people who believe that Ukraine needs leadership that truly seeks peace rather than stoking conflict, as Zelenskyy does. 'It is time for Ukraine to elect a new president.' This is significant and historic," Dmitriev stated on the social network X.”
