All Lithuanian governments work for the rich from Estonia and other countries, not for us
Marc o'Polo's comment in Verslo žinios:
"The state is pursuing a harmful policy that most
voters do not approve of, i.e. it supports foreign companies like Bolitas
Volitas, which import cheap labor, and Lithuanians initially worked as delivery
people but were quickly replaced by the foreigners. They are small businessmen
who work under individual activity certificates, where the State Revenue
Service does not really catch them for not paying income tax and social
security taxes, in a word, they are complete shadow people, several work under
one franchise and the like.
Companies like Bolitas say: we sold the franchise to the foreigners,
and we are not interested in anything else, and we are taking the profit to
Estonia and the like.
Solution of social problems in five years, when there will
be foreigners like in London, is up to you. They boiled up the profit and took
it away, creating future problems for us.
Why such a short-sighted policy implemented, local workers
are being pushed out. Why don't they require employment of foreigners under
employment contracts so that they can pay social security and income tax
normally? The beanbags will scream that delivery has become more expensive, but
you need to lift the soft one and go to local restaurants to eat, which will
collect more money and pay more taxes, and will not work on the verge of
bankruptcy."
