Užkalnis wrote an essay praising hatred. The essay failed, the dumpling seller's illogical thinking. It is interesting that Užkalnis offers to despise even the most talented Lithuanian poet Salomėja Nėris. According to him she deserves to be despised for being taken and transported somewhere in time of Stalin. Like in Stalin's day, people were asked what you wanted. Maybe Mr. Užkalnis would write at least one poem at the level of Salomėja Nėris? In America, a person is judged by people of his level. Maybe it is enough for chefs and bakers to destroy the foundations of our culture?
