“You will need:
0.5 kg. minced pork (minced meat or minced meat will do), 1
egg, 1 onion, minced meat spices, pepper and salt
How to make dumplings:
I added grated onion to the minced pork, beat in an egg,
seasoned with spices and mixed well. I formed small balls from the mass. I put
the prepared balls in a colander a few at a time and dipped them in water for a
while, then rolled them in flour, then dipped them again in water, again in
flour and so on. Repeat this 4 – 5 times. I put the prepared balls in a pot of
boiling water, threw in a few bay leaves, seasoned a few black peppercorns with
salt and boiled the dumplings until they floated to the surface ~ 6 – 8
minutes. I served the dumplings with sour cream.”
