"The Jetson One flying car, which can take off and land vertically, weighs so little (only 86 kg) that it is classified as an ultralight aircraft. Ultralights don't require a license to operate, which means the car will be easy to market, but the view from the sky can be intimidating. Perhaps it's a good thing that current US regulations ensure that no similar aircraft are used near cities or airports, so we'll see very few such flying cars for now.
