Congratulations. Be prepared though that this new way will not work anymore in two months.
Both our economy and our military are surviving rapid changes.
The Spanish are used to heat, they have siesta, they have smarts to understand that it makes no sense to waste 5 percent GDP for the military in these conditions.
Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez recently stated that Spain will not meet the new NATO defense spending target of 5% of GDP, calling it "unreasonable." Spain considers its current defense spending of 2% of GDP to be "sufficient, realistic and compatible with the welfare state."
Rest of us heat does no good. We are running with gallons of lubricant trying to please one another. 3 percent? No problem? 5 percent? Great idea.
